Cradle Hill Community Primary School

Communication

Positive communication is an essential element of the aims and vision of Cradle Hill Community Primary school. This enables our pupils and families to feel valued and listened to. Effective communication allows pupils to receive continuity of education, care, and support within the home and at school.

We believe that clear, open communication between school and home has a positive impact on pupil’s learning, by allowing information to be shared and fostering trust amongst important people in the pupils' life.

The school office is open from 8am – 4pm, Monday to Friday. You can contact the school office via email (office@cradlehill.e-sussex.sch.uk) or phone call (01323 892773) who will then put you in touch with the relevant member of staff.

Staff will aim to respond to parent emails within 48 working hours, even if the response is brief and promises a later reply. Staff are not expected to check emails outside working hours or when off sick or on leave. If you have an urgent enquiry, please contact the school office.

For more information about how we communicate with parents and carers, please see our home school communication policy.
