Cradle Hill Community Primary School

Lunches

Please note we are a nut and egg free school. This means NO whole eggs, egg sandwiches or scotch eggs.

Children have lunch in our hall and are looked after by a team of Midday Supervisors.

We are pleased to be able to share with you that from September 2026, we will be working with a new catering provider, PS Catering.

PS Catering bring many years of experience in providing high-quality school meals and have an excellent reputation for delivering nutritious, balanced food that children enjoy. Their approach focuses on healthy eating whilst creating positive lunchtime experiences.
We are particularly proud to share that PS Catering use a range of locally sourced ingredients, helping to ensure fresh produce whilst also supporting local suppliers.
We will be sharing sample menus and further information with families ahead of the new academic year and hope to include some opportunities for our parents/carers to sample some of PS Catering's meals.

A sample menu from PS Catering can be found below:

Children may bring a packed lunch or buy a hot meal, a vegetarian option is available everyday.

Children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 receive Universal Free School Meals. For children in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6, we operate a cashless system called ParentPay. This is completed using a secure website which offers you the freedom to make payments online at any time. Once money is loaded to the account, you select the days of the week you wish for your child to have a school dinner.

Please note the booking must be made and paid for by 8:30am on the day the meal is required.

Children select the meal option from the menu when the register is taken in the morning.

Cradle Hill Community Primary School encourages healthy eating, therefore we ask that you please do not include fizzy drinks or sweets in packed lunch boxes.
