All in a School Day
Our school day for all children is from 8.45am until 3.15pm (32.5 hours a week).
A typical day:
8:30-8:25am
The gate is opened each morning and a senior leader will be on duty at the front and back gate.
8.45am
Register is taken at 8.45am for all children.
Reception, Years 1, 3 and 6 children enter straight into their classrooms from the playground.
Years 2, 4 and 5 children enter through a dedicated door.
Class teachers stand by the door waiting to welcome the children and a senior leader remains on duty at the front and back gate until they are closed at 8:45-8:50am.
Anyone arriving after should report to the office, remembering to order their lunch for the day (especially important if your child is having a hot school meal).
Break time
10.30 - 10.45am
We encourage all children to have a healthy snack – Early Years and Key Stage 1 will be able to pick from a selection of free fruit.
Lunchtime
Early Years 11.45am - 1pm
Year 1 12 - 1pm
Year 2 12.15 - 1.15pm
Year 3 and 4 12 - 1pm
Years 5 and 6 12.15 - 1.15pm
