Wherever possible we would strongly prefer that children do NOT bring phones into school. However, we recognise that for lots of reasons children do need to bring their phones into school. In light of the new government guidance on mobile phones we would like to kindly remind all our children and families:

Year 5 and 6 children only are permitted to bring mobile phones to school.

As soon as children arrive on the school site, their phone must be turned off and in their school bag/pocket.

When children arrive in their classroom, they must give their phone to the teacher straight away.

At home time, staff will return the phone and children must put it in their school bag/pocket.

Children must not turn their phones on until they have left our school grounds.

I know you will all understand that we want to keep our children safe and create the best possible environment for learning, wellbeing, and positive relationships for all children.
