All in a School Day
Our school day for all children is from 8.45am until 3.15pm (32.5 hours a week).
A typical day:
8:30am
The gate is opened each morning and a senior leader will be on duty at the front and back gate.
8.45am
Register is taken at 8.45am for all children.
Reception, Years 1, 3 and 6 children enter straight into their classrooms from the playground.
Years 2, 4 and 5 children enter through a dedicated door.
Class teachers stand by the door waiting to welcome the children and a senior leader remains on duty at the front and back gate until they are closed at 8.55am.
Anyone arriving after should report to the office, remembering to order their lunch for the day (especially important if your child is having a hot school meal).
Break time
10.30 - 10.45am
We encourage all children to have a healthy snack – Early Years and Key Stage 1 will be able to pick from a selection of free fruit.
Lunchtime
Early Years 11.45am - 1pm
Year 1 12 - 1pm
Year 2 12.15 - 1.15pm
Year 3 and 4 12 - 1pm
Years 5 and 6 12.15 - 1.15pm

End of school for all children
Total hours for all year groups - 32.5 hours
National Pandemic
In response to Covid we may make changes to the school organisation. For example, the break and lunchtimes may be slightly different so that we can ensure different groups of children are not outside at the same time.
