CO-CHAIRS

Victoria Garland

After a year on the committee as Reception Parent member, Victoria takes the helm of the PTFA with friend and Co-Chair Kim.  She has a background in aviation and event management.  She also brings many organisational skills she has gained from 20 years’ service with Girl Guiding UK to the role.

She has a son in Year 1 and when she’s not decorating cakes, she likes to spend her spare time on the water - kayaking.

Kim Beal

Kim joins the team as Co-Chair, having been a regular helper to the PTFA for 2 years.

She works part time for Her Majesty's Courts and Tribunals Service and has experience in all areas of Administration and complaints handling.  She hopes that her love for organising parties and events and her passion for making and creating will set her in good stead in this role.  She has a son in Angelfish class in Year 2 and a 3 year old at nursery.

In her spare time she enjoys going on bike rides with her family, getting creative, running and stand-up comedy....watching it not doing it!!

In her spare time she enjoys running, yoga and dance.  She has a daughter in Angelfish class in Year 2.

TREASURER

Jennie Bush

Jennie is a qualified Bookkeeper with over 15 years’ experience.  She is now in her second year as Treasurer and is glad to be able to help in raising funds for such a great school.

Last year being part of the team showed Jennie first-hand the time and energy involved in running the PTFA.  She has great admiration and appreciation for the team and the results they have achieved.

She has a son in Year 2 and spends as much of her spare time as possible socialising with her friends.

TEACHER MEMBER

Mrs J Foley

Mrs Foley joined Cradle Hill as a Newly Qualified Teacher in 1986 and has taught every year group since then.  She became deputy head in 2009 and has also served as acting head in 2013 to 2014.

She has lived in Seaford for 26 years and has found it to be a wonderful, warm community.  She has been married for 27 years and she has two grown up daughters, both of whom attended Cradle Hill for their Primary Education.

As a family she loves spending her weekends walking along the seafront or over the Downs.

COMMITTEE MEMBERS

Julie Heal

Julie has been part of the team as secretary and is now staying on as a committee member. She loves being involved in the planning and running of the events and all the hard work is worth it to see the children enjoying themselves and raising funds for the school.

Having three children at the school means there are many more years to be involved with the PTFA! She has a daughter in Year 5 and one in Year 3 and a son who has just started in Reception.

In her spare time Julie enjoys socialising with friends, sewing, photography, exercise classes and netball!

Jancy Kaspathy

Jancy is a professional translator and amateur mum to a Seadragon and a Clownfish.  She has recently embarked on a new venture and she is teaching children French and Spanish.

In her sparse free time she loves watching movies and socialising with her friends.

Joel Pout

Joel joins the PTFA as the first ever dad on the committee.  He started at Cradle Hill himself 20 years ago and his son has just joined reception.

The school is very important to him and he is keen to help out as much as he can.  He is currently in his second year of studying AAT and working as a training accountant.  Outside of work he likes playing golf, football, live music and spending time with family.

Claire Pryer

Claire joins the PTFA committee team again as a member... She still wants to be very much involved but after two years of sharing the chair role she felt it was time to move aside.

She has a son in Year 5 and a daughter in Year 2.  In her spare time she enjoys exercising, entertaining, fashion, and shopping, lots of shopping!

Pollie Rafferty

Pollie runs her own business from home and does some youth work in Lewes and Eastbourne.  She also has a volunteer chaperone licence.  She has loved helping out with events over the last 2 years so much that she decided to take the plunge and join the committee this year.

She has two children in the school, a son in Reception and a daughter in Year 4.

She doesn’t get much spare time but when she does she enjoys reading, relaxing and catching up with friends and family.

Kerri Tucker

Kerri joins the team with several years’ experience in e-commerce, online content writing, blog writing, and social media management and development.  She is looking forward to working with the PTFA and continuing the important and fun work that they do to support the school.  She hopes she can help the PTFA with some of her knowledge and learn some new skills along the way too.

She has a daughter in Year 2 and in her free time she enjoys travel, culture, learning, music, yoga and beach walks with her family,
