Our School Statement

We ensure a welcoming and friendly atmosphere where all children achieve their full potential at each stage of development.

At Cradle Hill Community Primary School we:-

Foster a school community, who feel valued, respected and show care and support for each other, where strengths and successes are celebrated, and where staff, governors, parents and children work in harmony together sharing a common sense of purpose.

Recognise that children have a right to a stimulating well-ordered environment that encourages high standards of achievement and fosters positive attitudes.

Create an environment where children feel safe to learn, and safe from physical harm and danger.

Have high expectation with regard to uniform, attendance and behaviour.

Believe children have a right to high quality teaching and learning.

Offer a challenging, well planned curriculum which is broad, balanced and differentiated to meet all children’s needs.

The children are encouraged to play an active role in the planning and assessment of their learning, and the teachers are encouraged to provide first-hand learning experiences.
