Kittiwake Club

Cradle Hill Community Primary School run a Breakfast and After School Club which is called the Kittiwake Club.  The Club is based in the Kittiwake Club Room where there is full access to all the School’s outside play areas.

Our session times are:                  Breakfast Club  -              7.45am – 8.45am
                                                     After School Club -          3.15pm – 5.30pm

Kittiwake Club only runs during term time.  Children are provided with breakfast in the morning, and a hot or cold snack in the afternoon.  We promote independence by encouraging the children to help prepare their own snacks, and to clear away after themselves.  Fresh drinking water is available at all times.

To make a booking, please complete a termly booking form, available from the carousel in reception, along with completing a Parent/Carer Contract  and Registration Form (only required for those that are attending for the first time, also available on request).

The Club aims to provide a safe, secure and relaxed environment for all the children in our care.  We endeavour to provide an atmosphere and activities similar to those found within the home.  We offer a range of activities including:

• Cookery
• Craft
• Board Games
• Reading
• Imaginary Play
• Construction
• Sport

Our Club is staffed by:

Mrs Paula Vazquez and Mrs Yvonne English – Kittiwake Club Co-Ordinators
Mrs Anneka Playford, Mrs Nadine Sands  and Miss Megan Davey – Playworkers

All our staff members are checked through the Criminal Records Bureau and we maintain a staff/child ratio of 1:10 which meets statutory requirements.

The Club operates a number of policies and procedures, which are in line with the School’s.  Copies of these are held at the Club and are available for you to view at your request.  Copies of policies relating to fees, behaviour and admissions are also available.
