PTFA Summer Fair
Summer Fair – Saturday 22nd June 12- 3pm
Helpers
The Fair is nearly upon us and is probably the largest event the PTFA organize. BUT! There all lots of blank spaces on my helpers list. A lot of time and effort has gone into the preparation of the fair and if we have to cancel due to lack of help on the day it would be a travesty.
All we are asking is you give one hour of your time between 12 and 3pm. If you don’t feel confident, share a stall with a fellow parent and have fun whilst helping to raise funds for your child’s school.
We all have children and would like to go around the fair with them so why not job share? One parent mans a stall while another takes care of the children and vice versa. This could also apply to friends. One looks after the children for an hour or half an hour and then swap over.
Either way, we need help! So please return the form we sent home last week or contact Vicky directly on 07769 156670. I will also leave a copy of the helpers list at the school reception so you can put your name to a time slot.
Raffle
Raffle tickets for the fair were also sent home last week. Each child was given a book of 5 tickets. Please return your tickets and £1 to the school office. If you do not wish to purchase any raffle tickets, please could you return the blank book to the office so we can sell it to someone else.
Mufti Day – Friday 21st June
As always, the day before the fair is non school uniform day in return for donations for the fair.
We would like:
Tombola Items
Filled ‘Jam’ Jars with little treats (please ensure any sweets are wrapped)
Wine bottles
Cakes and Home bakes
Good quality, clean used toys, games and books
Old Crockery (Plates & Bowls etc) for the Crockery Smash
NO TEDDIES THANK YOU
Please bring all items to Hall 2 (KS2) in the morning.
