Year 5 Visit To Hampton Court Palace
As part of our summer term topic, ‘Off with their Heads’, we have arranged a visit to Hampton Court Palace on Wednesday 22nd May 2019. In order to have as much time at the palace as possible, we will need to leave school at 8.45am. Your child will, therefore, need to be at school by 8:30am at the latest for registration. We intend to leave the palace at 2:15pm and be back to school by 4:30pm.
Parents are asked to make a voluntary contribution of £20.00 to cover the cost of the coach hire, entry to the palace, educational workshop (Playing the King) and insurance cover. Consent and payment for the trip can now be made online through our WisePay system by either clicking on the following link, or by logging into your WisePay account via the app.
If you are able to volunteer with your child’s class, please indicate online at the payment screen. Children will require a packed lunch on this day in a plastic bag (so these can be thrown away after lunch), no glass bottles please. If your child is entitled to Free School Meals and you would like the school to provide a packed lunch, please indicate online at the payment screen.
Children will be required to wear school uniform.
In the event of there being insufficient voluntary contributions, it will not be possible for the trip to go ahead. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to speak to us. There is a shop on site but as there will be a limited amount of time available may we suggest your child brings no more than £5.
